Terms of Use

Version 1.0 · 19 October 2026

1. Operator and Scope

Millionaires United is operated by Athada (Pvt) Ltd, a company registered in Sri Lanka, trading as Millionaires United (“Millionaires United,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

Our contact address is:

Athada (Pvt) Ltd
Level 13, MAGA ONE
No. 200 Narahenpita Road
Colombo 00500, Sri Lanka

Email: contact@millionairesunited.com
Phone: +94 77 076 1805

These Terms govern:

  • Membership applications and verification

  • Membership and participation in our official Discord server, Telegram group, and WhatsApp group

  • Other community spaces that we expressly identify as official Millionaires United channels

  • Use of millionairesunited.com, to the extent that a provision concerns public website access, website content, or website security

These are collectively the “Services.”

“You” means the individual using the Services or applying for membership. Membership is individual, even where you provide information about a business or participate in a professional capacity.

Private dealings between members remain their own responsibility. However, conduct arising from a community introduction may affect membership where it involves fraud, harassment, misuse of information, or another breach of these Terms.

2. Acceptance and Related Policies

You must expressly accept these Terms when submitting an application. Approved membership remains subject to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not apply or participate.

Visiting a public website page alone does not constitute acceptance of unrelated membership obligations.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Our Cookie Policy explains the use of cookies and similar technologies. These Terms do not replace any separate consent or notice required by law.

Channel instructions may specify where to introduce yourself, post questions, or submit material for approval. They cannot override these Terms or materially change your rights without the process in Section 25.

If there is a conflict:

  1. Mandatory applicable law takes precedence.

  2. These Terms govern membership rights and obligations.

  3. Channel instructions govern day-to-day posting arrangements.

  4. The Privacy Policy governs explanations of our personal information practices without reducing statutory rights.

3. Purpose of the Community

Millionaires United is a private international community for networking, introductions, and discussion among individuals with significant personal wealth and relevant business or investment experience.

Members may exchange experience, discuss opportunities, and develop relationships across industries and countries.

We provide the community setting and administer access. We do not:

  • Hold, pool, invest, or manage money for members

  • Operate an investment fund or collective investment arrangement

  • Raise capital for members or their businesses

  • Arrange, negotiate, execute, or broker transactions

  • Act as an escrow agent, custodian, investment adviser, or transaction guarantor

  • Provide personalised investment, legal, tax, accounting, or other regulated professional advice

  • Guarantee introductions, financing, partnerships, investment returns, or commercial results

Our moderation of an opportunity does not change this role.

Membership does not create a partnership, employment, agency, advisory, or fiduciary relationship between you and us.

Members have no authority to represent Millionaires United, collect money on its behalf, or make commitments in its name without written authorisation from the company.

4. Eligibility

To apply, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into these Terms

  • Have personal net worth exceeding US$1 million, or its equivalent in another currency

  • Have relevant experience as a business owner, senior executive, investor, major shareholder, or family business principal

  • Provide accurate information about your identity and background

  • Complete the verification reasonably required for admission

  • Intend to participate in peer relationships and discussion, rather than primarily seek customers, investors, publicity, or access to member data

Applications are welcomed internationally, subject to applicable law. You must not use the Services where your participation would be prohibited by law, sanctions, or a binding restriction applicable to you or us.

Meeting the financial threshold does not guarantee admission.

Membership belongs to the approved person. It cannot be transferred, sold, shared, inherited, or used by an assistant, employee, family member, or representative.

Personal net worth

Personal net worth means the reasonable estimated current value of assets you own, less your liabilities.

Include only your ownership share of jointly held property or businesses. Do not include:

  • Company revenue

  • Assets managed for clients or employers

  • Family assets you do not own

  • Expected inheritances

  • Speculative future earnings

For private business interests, use a reasonable estimate based on available financial information, a credible valuation method, or a recent arm’s-length transaction. An unsupported asking price is not sufficient.

Use a commercially published exchange rate current when completing the application. We do not require a formal valuation of every asset.

5. Applications and Admission

Applications are reviewed manually. We consider:

  • Financial eligibility

  • Whether identity and background can reasonably be established

  • Relevant experience and responsibilities

  • Reasons for joining

  • Intended contribution and use of the community

  • Willingness to follow the rules

  • Credible concerns about fraud, harassment, misrepresentation, or misuse of access

We may accept, waitlist, or decline an application.

We aim to complete the initial review within 72 hours. This is a response target, not a guaranteed admission deadline.

If we request information and receive no response within 14 calendar days, we may close the application. You may request reopening by email.

If declined, you may request one reconsideration within 14 calendar days by identifying a factual error or providing material new information.

We may withhold information about confidential sources, other members, security measures, or matters we are legally restricted from disclosing. We will not knowingly base a decision on materially false information without considering a correction brought to our attention.

6. Verification and Its Limits

Identity and background

Before admission, we will confirm control of the application email address and review the stated background against available professional profiles, company websites, business records, or equivalent references.

Where that review is insufficient, we may request:

  • A brief live video conversation

  • A professional or business reference

  • Clarification of a role, ownership interest, or affiliation

  • An identity document through a submission method identified by the team

Before requesting identity documents, we will explain the purpose, submission method, access arrangements, and retention period.

Financial eligibility

Net worth is initially self-declared. We do not independently audit every applicant’s assets.

Where clarification is necessary, we may request redacted supporting evidence or confirmation from an appropriately qualified accountant or lawyer.

Never provide passwords, authentication codes, financial account access, or cryptocurrency recovery phrases. We will not request them.

You may decline a verification request, but we may then be unable to approve the application or grant particular access.

Restricted discussions

Additional checks may apply to a restricted channel. Its purpose, access criteria, and information requirements will be explained before you seek access.

Declining a restricted-channel check does not automatically terminate general membership.

Meaning of “verified member”

“Verified member” means a person has completed our admission checks.

It does not mean we have audited their wealth, checked their entire history, or endorsed their character, competence, creditworthiness, advice, business, or investments.

Do not describe your membership as regulatory approval, accreditation, certification, or evidence that we recommend your services.

7. Accurate Information and Continuing Eligibility

Keep your contact details and material background information current.

Notify us within 30 calendar days if:

  • You discover a significant error in information supplied

  • Your account or identity has been compromised

  • A change materially affects your eligibility

  • You can no longer accurately use the professional description presented to members

Temporary market or exchange-rate movements below the net worth threshold do not automatically end membership.

If you reasonably expect your net worth to remain below the threshold for more than 90 consecutive days, notify us within 30 days of forming that expectation. We may request clarification and decide whether continued membership remains appropriate.

You are not required to commission recurring valuations solely to monitor eligibility.

8. Fees and Payments

Membership is currently free.

We will not automatically charge you, request investment deposits, or treat continued free membership as permission to collect payment.

If fees are introduced, we will provide at least 30 calendar days’ notice and explain:

  • The price and currency

  • Any taxes

  • Billing frequency

  • Renewal arrangements

  • Cancellation procedure

  • Applicable refund rights

Payment requires your express acceptance. You may leave without paying a membership fee if you do not accept a proposed change.

A payment request from another member is not a payment request from Millionaires United. Verify unexpected requests directly through our published contact email.

9. Platforms, Access, and Security

Approved members receive joining instructions for the official Discord server, Telegram group, and WhatsApp group.

You must:

  • Use accounts you control

  • Protect your credentials

  • Enable two-factor authentication where available

  • Keep invitation links private

  • Prevent unapproved people from using your access

  • Notify us promptly of suspected compromise

  • Follow the platform providers’ own terms and rules

Do not use bots, integrations, meeting assistants, recorders, or automated tools in private community spaces without written permission from the team and any additional participant permissions required.

Discord, Telegram, and WhatsApp are independent providers. Their service availability, account restrictions, technical features, and personal information practices are outside our direct control.

Depending on the platform and settings, other participants may see your name, username, photograph, phone number, or contributions. Review your settings before joining.

Access to every conversation through every platform is not guaranteed. An independently created group is not an official Millionaires United channel merely because members participate in it.

10. General Conduct

You must communicate honestly, respectfully, and lawfully.

The following are prohibited:

  • Impersonation or false claims about wealth, qualifications, affiliations, experience, or authority

  • Fraud, fabricated evidence, deceptive opportunities, or misleading performance claims

  • Threats, harassment, intimidation, discriminatory abuse, or sexual harassment

  • Defamatory material or knowingly false allegations

  • Spam, mass messages, repeated advertising, or unsolicited fundraising

  • Harvesting contact information or creating member databases without permission

  • Continuing contact after refusal

  • Malicious files, unauthorised access, or attempts to bypass restrictions

  • Scraping, covert monitoring, or unauthorised recording

  • Retaliation against someone reporting a concern

  • Unlawful financial promotions, money laundering, insider dealing, market manipulation, or anti-competitive coordination

Do not disclose inside information, trade secrets, client records, employer information, or material protected by another confidentiality obligation.

Good-faith criticism, disagreement, reporting, and complaints are permitted.

11. Introductions and Private Messages

You may introduce yourself in the designated introduction space with your role, background, interests, and one relevant professional or business link.

When privately contacting a member:

  • Have a specific, relevant reason

  • Explain why you are contacting them

  • Disclose any commercial intention

  • Do not attach an unsolicited pitch or fundraising document

  • Respect their boundaries

For a non-commercial introductory message, one brief follow-up is permitted after at least seven calendar days. If there is no response, stop contacting that person about the matter.

A refusal must be respected immediately. Switching platforms does not permit another attempt.

Obtain permission before sharing someone’s contact details externally or introducing them to a third party. A visible phone number is not marketing consent.

12. Commercial Opportunities and Conflicts

General discussion of business, investments, and markets is permitted in relevant channels.

A specific group post seeking investors, funding, customers, buyers, paid referrals, or commercial partners requires written moderator approval.

Email the proposed post to contact@millionairesunited.com with:

  • Your relationship to the opportunity

  • What response or participation you seek

  • Any ownership interest, fee, commission, referral benefit, or other material conflict

  • Material risks and audience restrictions

  • The exact proposed text and supporting links

Permission applies only to the approved version, location, and conditions. Silence is not approval.

Approval concerns suitability for posting. It is not verification, due diligence, regulatory clearance, or endorsement.

Do not repeat a proposal or send it privately unless the recipient requests it.

Mutually requested private commercial discussions are permitted. Participants remain responsible for legal restrictions, disclosures, licensing requirements, and the accuracy of statements.

A disclaimer does not make an unlawful promotion lawful. We may refuse material even where the proposer believes it complies with applicable law.

13. Confidentiality

Treat the following as confidential when learned through private community spaces or membership-related private exchanges:

  • Non-public membership status and contact details

  • Messages, documents, discussions, and contributions

  • Non-public financial information, plans, proposals, and opportunities

  • Information expressly identified as confidential

Without the necessary express permission, do not:

  • Take screenshots or record discussions

  • Forward, reproduce, quote, or publish private material

  • Reveal someone’s membership

  • Use contributions in publicity, presentations, marketing, or media commentary

  • Upload private information to external AI, transcription, recording, or analysis services

Permission must identify what may be shared, with whom, and for what purpose.

Permission is needed from the relevant contributor and anyone else whose rights or confidential information would be affected. A contributor cannot authorise disclosure they have no right to permit.

Exceptions

These restrictions do not cover information you can demonstrate:

  • Was already lawfully known to you without a confidentiality duty

  • Was independently developed without using confidential information

  • Was lawfully received from another source without a confidentiality duty

  • Became public without a breach of confidentiality

You may disclose information where reasonably necessary to:

  • Comply with law or a binding legal demand

  • Report suspected wrongdoing to a competent authority

  • Obtain confidential professional advice

  • Establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim

  • Report or respond to alleged misconduct through our moderation process

Limit disclosure to what is necessary. Where lawful and appropriate, provide advance notice of compelled disclosure.

Notify us promptly of accidental or suspected unauthorised disclosure and take reasonable steps to contain it.

Confidentiality duties continue after membership ends for as long as the information remains confidential.

We enforce these rules but cannot guarantee every participant’s compliance or the security of third-party systems.

14. Independent Decisions and Transactions

No member must invest, collaborate, advise, make introductions, or respond to proposals.

Any agreement is between its participants. We are not a party, guarantor, custodian, escrow provider, or transaction supervisor.

Independently assess identities, ownership, claims, risks, documentation, and legal requirements. Obtain professional advice where appropriate.

Membership, verification, introductions, and posting approval do not establish safety or suitability.

Do not transfer funds solely because someone is a member or claims an administrator has approved a transaction.

Nothing in this section excuses us from responsibility for our own statements, conduct, or legal obligations.

15. Contributions and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your contributions.

You grant us a non-exclusive permission to display, transmit, and process them only as necessary to operate, administer, secure, and moderate the Services, handle disputes, and comply with law.

We will not sell private contributions, publish them externally, use them in marketing, or use them to train AI models without separate express permission from the necessary rights holders and affected individuals.

This governs our own use. Independent platform providers process content under their own terms.

You must have authority to share your material. Receiving access does not give another member ownership or redistribution rights.

Our branding, website design, articles, and other owned or licensed material remain protected by applicable intellectual property rights.

You may read public content, link to it, and use it for personal learning and internal reference. Uses permitted by law remain permitted. Other republication, commercial distribution, or use of our branding requires written permission.

Public articles provide general information. They may become outdated and are not personalised advice.

16. Reports and Moderation

Report concerns to contact@millionairesunited.com.

Include the platform, date, people involved, factual description, and relevant evidence. Do not circulate allegations more widely than necessary.

You may privately provide evidence reasonably necessary for a report or defence. This does not authorise public distribution.

We aim to acknowledge reports within three working days and provide an outcome or progress update within 14 calendar days. These are response targets, not guaranteed resolution deadlines.

We may:

  • Remove content

  • Issue a warning

  • Restrict posting or channel access

  • Suspend membership

  • Terminate membership

  • Make lawful reports to platforms or authorities

We consider seriousness, evidence, previous conduct, and risk to others. Fraud, threats, serious harassment, deliberate confidentiality breaches, or urgent security risks may justify immediate restrictions.

We do not monitor every message. A report is an allegation to assess, not automatic proof.

Report information will be limited to those who need it for investigation, advice, response, or legal compliance. Absolute anonymity cannot be promised.

17. Suspension, Termination, and Reconsideration

For non-urgent concerns that may result in removal, we will ordinarily describe the issue and allow seven calendar days for a response.

Immediate suspension may be imposed while a serious concern is investigated.

We may withhold details where disclosure would breach law, expose confidential information, endanger someone, or compromise an investigation.

Membership may end for:

  • Material or repeated breaches

  • Misrepresentation during application or participation

  • Failure to complete necessary verification

  • Loss of eligibility following review

  • Legal restrictions

  • Serious misuse of community access

We may also end membership where its use remains materially incompatible with the community’s purpose after an explanation and an opportunity to address the issue. Unless urgent action is justified, we will provide 14 calendar days’ notice.

You may request one reconsideration within 14 calendar days of a suspension or termination decision. Identify factual errors, new evidence, or procedural concerns.

We aim to respond or provide an update within 14 calendar days. Where another administrator is available, they will review the decision.

Do not evade restrictions through another account, identity, or intermediary.

18. Leaving and Records

You may leave at any time by exiting the groups and emailing us to close membership.

We aim to confirm closure and remove remaining official access within seven calendar days.

Leaving does not:

  • Cancel confidentiality duties

  • Erase messages already received by others

  • Remove liabilities already incurred

  • Automatically constitute a personal information deletion request

Existing contributions may remain in conversation histories, recipient accounts, platform backups, and records lawfully retained for complaints, security, or legal claims.

Deletion and access requests are handled under applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

19. Personal Information

Our Privacy Policy explains the collection, use, disclosure, retention, security, and international processing of application and membership information.

Where necessary, we will give additional information before collecting identity documents or financial evidence.

These Terms do not authorise indefinite retention, waive privacy rights, or provide blanket consent to international transfers.

Do not submit sensitive records through group channels. Use only submission instructions supplied by the team.

We cannot promise deletion from recipients’ devices or independently operated platform systems. This does not reduce our own legal responsibilities.

20. Publicity and External Representation

Do not use our name, logo, member identities, screenshots, or private discussions to imply sponsorship, endorsement, accreditation, or a commercial relationship.

You may factually describe your own current membership without identifying others or suggesting that membership verifies investment expertise or professional status.

Publicity involving the community or its members requires the relevant permissions under these Terms.

These restrictions do not prevent lawful reporting, protected disclosures, or accurate statements required by law.

21. Availability and Closure

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, indefinite storage, or permanent availability of a platform or channel.

We will ordinarily give:

  • At least 14 calendar days’ notice of planned material changes to operating arrangements

  • At least 30 calendar days’ notice of permanent community closure

Legal requirements, security incidents, technical failures, or platform decisions may make shorter notice necessary.

We will communicate significant changes through email or an available official channel as soon as reasonably practicable.

Events outside our reasonable control may interrupt service. We will take reasonable steps to limit disruption. This does not exclude responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

22. Disclaimers and Liability

The Services are provided on an “as available” basis.

To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee complete or accurate content, uninterrupted operation, or a particular financial, professional, or business result.

We are not responsible for a member’s independent conduct solely because they participate in the community.

Subject to applicable law and fairness or reasonableness requirements, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses arising from the Services.

These Terms do not impose a fixed monetary liability cap.

Nothing excludes or limits liability for:

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence

  • Liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited

Mandatory consumer, privacy, and other non-waivable rights remain unaffected.

23. Third-Party Claims

To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for reasonable, documented losses and costs arising from a third-party claim to the extent caused by your fraud, unlawful conduct, infringement of rights, or material breach of these Terms.

You are not required to cover losses caused by our negligence, misconduct, or breach of legal obligations.

We will notify you promptly, take reasonable steps to limit losses, and allow a reasonable opportunity to participate in handling the claim.

We will not agree to a settlement imposing an admission, payment, or continuing obligation on you without written consent.

There will be no double recovery for the same loss.

24. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by Sri Lankan law, subject to mandatory protections applicable under another jurisdiction’s law.

Raise a dispute by emailing contact@millionairesunited.com with the facts and resolution sought.

We aim to acknowledge it within seven calendar days and will attempt good-faith resolution.

If unresolved after 30 calendar days from receipt, either party may pursue available legal remedies. This period does not suspend legal deadlines or prevent urgent protective action.

The courts of Sri Lanka have jurisdiction, except where mandatory law permits or requires proceedings elsewhere.

These Terms do not require arbitration or waive access to competent authorities, collective remedies, or other rights that cannot lawfully be restricted.

25. Changes to These Terms

Material changes will receive at least 30 calendar days’ notice by email and through an available official channel.

The notice will describe the changes and effective date. Changes materially affecting membership rights or obligations require renewed express acceptance. Silence alone is not acceptance.

If you do not accept, you may leave before the effective date. Access may be suspended from that date pending acceptance or closure.

An urgent change strictly necessary for law or security may take effect sooner. We will explain the reason and obtain acceptance where required.

Minor corrections that do not materially affect rights or obligations may take effect when published.

Changes do not retrospectively authorise a confidentiality breach or remove rights already accrued.

26. Notices and General Provisions

Keep your registered email address current. Important notices will be sent there, with community announcements where appropriate.

Where we know an email failed, we will use another reasonable contact method if available. Mandatory legal notice requirements remain applicable.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues to apply to the extent possible.

A delay in enforcement does not permanently waive a right.

You cannot transfer membership or contractual rights without our written permission.

If operation transfers to another organisation, we will ordinarily give at least 30 calendar days’ notice. The transfer must respect applicable law and existing confidentiality, privacy, and membership rights. You may leave before the transfer.

These Terms and properly notified supplementary rules constitute the membership agreement, without excluding liability for fraudulent statements or rights that cannot be excluded.

Confidentiality, intellectual property protections, accrued liabilities, dispute provisions, and other provisions intended to survive termination continue to apply after membership ends.

“Calendar days” includes weekends and public holidays. “Working days” means Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in Sri Lanka. Deadlines use Sri Lanka Standard Time, UTC+5:30.
